Australian owned, designed and manufactured Exlites Mobile Solar Lighting Towers have just been released and now provide an exciting energy efficient, stand-alone and cost effective alternative to current diesel powered lighting towers! They have been purpose designed as a road construction and flood lighting system which is multipurpose and cost effective………
The MSLT-435 and MSLT450 have been designed to provide superior benefits from current lighting tower options availble, including autonomy as a key feature with reduced requirement for an operator to start and stop the system. Other important benefits include that it eliminates the need for refueling and reduces maintenance costs, has substantially reduced running costs and of course a lowered Co2 footprint.
Not surprisingly there has been keen interest from the mining sector, and the MSLT can currently be found on a road tour around Western Australia, where it has been put through it’s paces in front of Rio Tinto decision makers among others.
The MSLT range of solar lighting towers have been designed for easy operation and very simple maintenance with pull out gear trays.
Conforming to all “V” category lighting requirements for road construction use, the MSLT-435 and MSLT-450 eliminates the severe glare safety issue currently identified with standard diesel powered lighting towers used for conflict points.
The MSLT-435 ……..There are 3 variants in the range for each model 435 and 450:
1. Wheeled mining version (as per pictures)
2. Skid mining version with option for twin lighting booms
3. Road Construction with a much smaller foot print and boom arm
outreach extension for coverage over dual lanes
