1) They are tough enough for our Australian climatic extremes! Rated to operate in ambient temperatures of -25 to + 60^o without fans (With fans, it’s not a question of if, but when they will fail, and whether the whole inverter will fry.)  This is unlike inverters manufactured in northern European countries like Germany and Norway, where their version of “hot weather” that inverters are rated to is much different to ours!

2) They are “solid state” construction; Zero moving parts means less risk of failure.

3) The cooling fins are exposed, which means that they wouldn’t get clogged up dust, debris and by the common Australia wide problem of mud wasps nesting……. We don’t recommend inverters with horizontal fins as they are susceptible to these blockages of their hidden fins which generally require regular cleaning from an electrician at best, and can cause the unit to shut down or fail at worst…….  When inverters overheat, they are designed to shut down, losing power production on the best days, but if they fail totally in time due to these external causes then your warranty will not cover it!

4) They are transformer-less; transformers are less efficient and are prone to eventually short circuit.

5) They have long term and comprehensive internal data logging capacity

6) They have good communications systems built in to allow for the option of monitoring if required.
